The future of STEM education in the UK, particularly in Cambridgeshire, is promising. There is a notable rise in interest in STEM subjects at the A-Level stage, as well as the increasing popularity of T Levels. However, several challenges remain, including addressing gender disparities, enhancing parental involvement in children’s education, and meeting the growing demand for engineers and computer scientists.
Blossomify is committed to supporting local communities by offering free English and Maths tuition to residents of Cambourne and surrounding villages. Secondary school students, from Years 7 to 11, receive personalized support in these subjects to help them excel academically. This initiative also extends to at-risk youth, students on the verge of exclusion, and those from disadvantaged backgrounds. By providing engaging and enjoyable after-school activities, Blossomify has successfully boosted students’ self-esteem, improved school engagement, and reduced unsupervised idle time.
All activities are delivered by DBS-checked staff, volunteers, and teachers, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Currently, sessions are held every Saturday at 2 PM at the Bowls Pavilion, Cambourne Sports and Fitness Centre, CB23 6FY. Terms and conditions apply.
