Helping children grow alongside a growing community
Northstowe is a growing new community, and we believe creating buildings is only one part of building a community. People also need opportunities to meet, form friendships and develop a sense of belonging.
Level Up, Northstowe, provides a regular space where children and families can do exactly that. Our sessions bring local children together through learning, board games, puzzles and shared activities.
Children receive encouragement with Maths and English while also developing confidence and friendships. For parents and carers, the programme provides another point of connection with their local community.
Meeting time and location
Sessions occur every Tuesday from 5pm to 6pm at The Unity Center, Northstowe. Our amazing volunteers facilitate all sessions in activities including:
- Feel connected to the place where they live
- Have positive and safe activities close to home
- Develop friendships beyond the school environment
- Access additional learning support
- Build confidence and resilience
- Know that trusted adults and community organisations are supporting them
